Nova Scotia government restores some funding after backlash, but how badly has trust in Tim Houston been damaged?

NDP Leader Claudia Chender criticized the government during question period, saying it shouldn’t expect credit for reversing only some cuts and should have done more before tabling the budget. 

“When you propose 10 cruel things and you only do eight, it’s still cruel,” she said. “The government is supposed to do the work beforehand to determine the outcome of choices, and people are still worried.”
