Houston walks back some Nova Scotia budget cuts following public pushback

NDP Leader Claudia Chender criticized the government’s handling of the budget.

“I have never seen a budget amended in the middle of the budget process,” she said. “This is a government that went through with cruel cuts. . . . Now they are feeling some pressure and walking it back.”
