Chender highlights N.S. priorities in letter to prime minister
Claudia Chender, leader of Nova Scotia’s official Opposition, forwarded a comprehensive letter to Canada’s Liberal prime minister Wednesday, highlighting the province’s priorities.
“As you form your government and shape your priorities, the key issues for Nova Scotians are cost of living, housing, health care, the challenges posed by our neighbour to the south and measures to enhance our province’s long-term economic resiliency,” Chender wrote after congratulating Mark Carney on his party’s victory in the April 28 election that launched him back into the prime minister’s chair.
