N.S. legislature: PCs amend Financial Measures Act and Druhan targeted by ad

Official Opposition Leader Claudia Chender expressed relief at the decision.

“While we are pleased that this is being removed, and it should be, we had an amendment that would have done the same thing. We also continue to question how this government makes decisions,” Chender said. 

“So this isn’t urgent, but gutting the Department of Natural Resources and taxing electric vehicles is urgent? And making cuts to arts and culture that impact people’s livelihoods is somehow urgent? We still don’t understand how this government makes decisions.”
