Dartmouth Curling Club

CLAUDIA CHENDER: I rise today to recognize the Dartmouth Curling Club, a beloved Dartmouth institution that is, once again, welcoming our community after a yearlong closure. For nearly 90 years, the curling club has been much more than a place to curl. It’s a gathering place where people of all ages and backgrounds come together, stay active, volunteer, build connections, and voice political opinions. I have seen firsthand the incredible sense of belonging that it creates. Its return is a testament to the dedication of volunteers, members, and leadership who have worked hard to ensure that this community space could once again open its doors.

I ask the House to please join me in welcoming the Dartmouth Curling Club back to Dartmouth and celebrating nearly 90 years of bringing people together.
