HIV Prevention in 2018
"Heard about the exciting new advancements in HIV prevention?
The HIV prevention toolbox has expanded dramatically over the past few years. However, many service providers are still promoting condoms as the only HIV prevention option. This session will review scientific evidence on condoms, HIV treatment as prevention, pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP), and post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP).
We’ll review strategies for individuals seeking to upgrade their safer sex toolbox, and review service provider’s strategies for talking to clients about how to use these tools for a healthy sex life.
