No Child's War: A Night of Performance & Storytelling

Evelyn Amony was only 11 years old when she was abducted by the Lord’s Resistance Army. By the age of 14 she became one of Joseph Kony’s 60 wives. Following her escape, she decided to share her story with the world.

Emmanuel Jal, a South Sudanese-Canadian, was used as a weapon of war from the age of 10. Following his rescue he discovered his love of music, and has utilized his creativity to share his story with the world.

On April 10th join us for a night of storytelling and performance with these two world-leading advocates, educators and performers. Through art and expression, learn more about the various ways children are used as weapons of war around the world.
